Gibson is skipping Namm and who actually cares? We all admire the original designs and the iconic guitars that have graced the hands of rock stars but as a player and Tone Junkie, sometimes you have to call a spade a spade. Gibson guitars has the worst QC in the industry, they barely even try to come up with anything innovative and new models are just new finishes, inlays and the occasional new pickup combo.
If a new company came on the scene and produced guitars with the QC and pricing Gibson does without the iconic shapes, it would be a one way ticket to bankruptcy town.
