Today, we're taking a closer look at the 1959 Fender Stratocaster that we featured with Sam Jaeger this past Friday. An excellent model from the first-year of slab Brazilian Rosewood fretboards, this guitar looks great with its three-tone sunburst and its three-ply mint pickguard! This instrument is completely original, down to the frets and original case! For amplification, a tweed 1958Fender Pro Amp should fit the bill quite nicely! We happened to have our friend Chandler Eggleston in the shop so this is the first of a few demos with him over the coming days.
Note: Jay mis-spoke in the video stating the Pro Amp is a 1957, but it is in fact a 1958 model.
