Scott Sill demonstrates the newly revamped L-Series from Yamaha Guitars. This is their affordable, all solid-wood guitars. Scott takes a look at the small bodied LS16M which has an Engelmann Spruce top, Mahogany back and sides and a 5-ply rosewood and mahogany neck. The guitar as an Ebony fretboard and is equipped the SRT passive pickup.
Scott shows the tonal variety from the guitar using a picking style and finger picking. At the end of the video he plays chords to hear how long the guitar sustains.
Scott opened the video playing “Lenny” with some added reverb so that listener can hear what a finished track could sound like with this guitar.
