Steve Lukather, is not only one of the greatest guitarists alive, but a personal hero of mine. Too bad I don’t sound anything like him. It is no wonder that this exact Hazel Burst Luke model is one of the most common guitars I’ve seen Luke use; its appearance and finish is absolutely flawless. These Luke guitars are essentially what I too would design as my signature guitar. I have played few, if any, guitars that are anywhere near as comfortable to play as these. Music Man has done something incredibly special with this Hazel Burst Luke III. Both humbuckers not only scream in the classic Lukather fashion but are the utmost touch sensitive and delicate when playing clean or slightly overdriven. The DB boost when engaged provides just the touch needed to put this guitar into sustain heaven. Roasted Maple Necks have quickly become my favorite guitar necks and Music Man has combined Roasted Maple with their uniquely comfortable and ergonomic neck profiles to make one of the most playable instruments on the market today.
