The Mesa Boogie Mark Five: 35 Head is a compact re-creation of the genre-spanning Mark V amplifier.
Featuring 2 channels, each with 3 preamp voices, the Mark Five: 35 can reproduce the most stand-out tones of the entire history of the Mark Series. Each voice completely changes the channel response, effectively giving you 6 different preamps from the history of Mesa Boogie. With a 10/25/35-watt switch per channel, you can dial in the perfect level of power tube clipping - whether that be the early-onset crunch and bubbly tone of the 10-watt setting or the expanded headroom of the 25 and 35-watt settings, utilising the full range of the extremely-musical EL-84 power tubes.
On the front of the amp's control panel is the iconic Mark-series 5-band EQ, letting you radically shape your tone, while the channel 1's mid-control hides a secret "boost" function, giving you even more overdrive options. A Cab Clone circuit is also featured, providing a direct-out signal for easy, cab-free, recording and gigging.
Additional features include a speaker-defeat and headphone-out for silent practice; a buffered FX loop for clear effects pedal integration; two master volume controls for a separate solo boost; and a tube-driven long spring reverb for a lush ambience - independently adjustable on each channel. The Mark Five: 35 is capable of creating sounds for any genre of music and any style of playing.
