"Transparent overdrive" may be the over used guitar term of the century but we are still going to describe the Greer Lightspeed that way. It's a low compression, transparent sounding way to add some more gain to the tone of your amp. If you love your cleans, but want them to sound a bit pushed or if you are on the edge of break up and need some more grit to get into full OD, the lightspeed it your ticket. Of course as gain goes up, we usual want more mids, right? The Greer Relic Drive solves this problem too. It's a TS type circuit with less compression and a bit less honk but still enough to push those mids out in front. And as you may have guessed...they stack well!
