I layed down a chord progression on my acoustic and then a clean solo over top. The Acoustic is a Fender Starcaster (my first guitar) and it has served me well. The electric lines were layed down with my strat running into my Fender Blues Junior amp. The strat was once a standard '95 MIM, but it has been heavily modified by me and is a real gem now.
I put in Lace Sensor pickups (Gold in the neck, Silver in the middle, Hot gold in the bridge). I've been thinking about upgrading...let me know what you think.
I set up my amp really clean. I think I set the master on twelve and the preamp volume on 2 and let her rip. I also had my Seymour Duncan Pickup Booster on the lowest setting to give it a little more punch and clarity.
I recorded the sound through a shure pg57 mic into a Guitar Rig Session i/o interface and onto Audacity. Then I synced it with the video on my camera. Hope you enjoy it.
