This range of guitars, designed in Scotland and handcrafted in La Patrie, Canada, is a WORLD EXCLUSIVE: Godin do not make guitars for anybody else so this unique collaboration is unprecedented and extremely special.

Part of the reason that Finlayson guitars sound so good is the use of Adirondack Spruce for the inner bracing. Bracing forms and shapes much of the guitar’s voice & projection so using Adirondack Spruce, which is the strongest and lightest species of Spruce, is a massively important part of the process.

The D100RCE is a quality dreadnought. Made with Spruce and Rosewood, this classic combination works superbly well with the body size and the Adirondack bracing to produce a rich tone with body, substance and sparkle. The D100RE gives a powerful and confident strummed tone and delivers an equally elegant tone when fingerpicked with single notes and arpeggios.

The happily substantial Mahogany neck has been topped with a Richlite fingerboard. Richlite is not only a wonderful surface to play on, it is also an ecologically sound material to use in guitar making and has a lovely dark finish to accentuate the off-centre fret markers effectively.

Other details on the D100RCE include a Rosewood soundhole rosette and wonderfully detailed chrome Statite tuners alongside the aforementioned herringbone purfling and high gloss finish.
