Using the Broiler guitar pickup as a jumping-off point, we tweaked the design in order to offer a suitable version for bass guitars. The new Broiler Bass neck pickup will bring out the best in your Rickenbacker®-style bass, or similarly inspired new build.

As we were developing the Broiler Bass neck pickup, we were simultaneously experimenting with our Horseshoe Bass bridge pickup. We landed on a redesign that uses magnetic pole pieces giving the pickup improved string-to-string balance. Paired with our new Broiler Bass neck pickup—or on its own—it’ll elevate your Ric bass to a whole new level!
