http://www.plumcrazyfx.com Yet another killer build from the master at PCFX! This is from his Prune Works Ltd collection, where he makes a limited number of a hand wired slice of love for you to gobble and enjoy. The Aleister is a MKIII flavored tone bender and beyond...dig!
From the wizards mouth: The Aliester is based on a version of the very rare Roto Sound MkIII (a variation of the germanium Colorsound MkIII Tonebender made for Roto Sound). It was used for a short time by Jimmy Page live in 1969. It has more saturation and balls than the later MkIIIs and MkIVs (I like those pedals, too, but this definately steps a bit away from those pedals). It's not quite in the MkII area but can get close (very grindy) and works well with both single-coils and humbuckers. This pedal will be limited to no more than 25 pedals and uses a "tough-as-nails" turretboard construction on a 1/16th thick fiberglass board. I chose this to show off some "skills" in point-to-point handwiring. Hope everyone likes it. They'll be $200 as I'm using upgraded parts throughout and this is a very labor-intensive build.
