Our Acoustic Specialist Karl runs down this beautiful custom build from Stauton, Virginia’s Huss & Dalton Guitar Company. In close collaboration, we outfitted this particular dreadnought with a select adirondack red spruce top, flame maple binding, fire stripe pickguard, and a stunning hand-selected cocobolo back and sides set with a cocobolo heelcap and headcap veneer to match. But looks aren’t all. As with every Huss & Dalton guitar, the top on this custom dreadnought is constructed with a 25’ radius, allowing for increased sympathetic vibration which produces more articulation, presence, and projection.
