We took two Access Virus TI Polar, a vintage Roland 808 drum machine and a Laptop out for a 13 minute elektro influenced jam session.
One Virus was used to filter the 808 and put additional FX onto the drums, the other Polar provided all tonal sounds (basses, leads, pads and FX). The laptop triggers all the sequences and also hosts Stylus RMX which we used for additional percussion. The percussion loop libraries are from loopmasters.com.
The session was recorded in the Access Music room during Winter Music Conference / Remix Hotel in Miami, Florida. Performed by Matt Skaggs on drums and Marc Schlaile on Synth and FX.
