In this Gear Review Carl Culpepper guides you through the Para Dyne 50 head and cabinet by Andrews Amplification. From sparkling clean to smooth distortion tones, the PD-50 consistently delivers inspiring and eminently useful tones without being over-complicated. Several unusual bonus features like external bias points, customizable gain and an extra low end resonance control for the clean channel really make the amp stand out for discerning ears.  Additionally, solid cabinet construction and hand-wired circuits make these amps tough enough to reliably deliver the goods for many years on the stage.

I'm excited to introduce the newest Andrews designs, the Para-Dyne 20 and the Para-Dyne 50! They feature two foot-switchable channels including a clean channel with depth control and a thick warm overdrive channel with lots of sustain. The amps are hand-wired here in our shop in Atlanta on our custom designed chassis using a heavy duty G-10 turret board with high-quality American made transformers on durable welded steel custom chassis. The cabinets are finger-jointed Baltic birch. Both models are available in heads, 1 X 12 and 2 X 12 combos and feature Amercian made Warehouse Guitar Speakers.
