Here is the second part of our 'Mosrite Special' videos featuring twelve of the incredible twenty-seven Mosrite Guitar Collection that we have in our showroom/studio. This second video features another five amazing examples from the collection including Semie Moseley's own 1988 'set-neck' Translucent Purple "Double Axe" followed by his 1988, 'bolt-on-neck' Flourescent Pink Sparkle "Double Axe" which is signed and dated by him on the back of the unique headstock with six-on-one-side tuners. Next we have a super rare 1965 Ventures Mk 1 "Double-Neck" six and twelve string guitar followed by the now famous 1979 Mosrite Custom which was featured in the outstanding Chinery Collection. One of the most ornate and beautifully made instruments ever... this unique guitar was specially built in 1979 by Semie Moseley for his business partner, Robert Gentry. Finally we have Semie's 1990 Prototype Gospel Guitar -- again signed and dated by him on the back of the headstock. The remaining fifteen guitars in the collection include three Ventures Mk 1 guitars in Turquoise Blue, Pacific Blue and Maroon; another 1965 six/twelve string double neck -- this time a Joe Maphis model; a 1966 Joe Maphis model; a 1967 Melobar nine-string guitar- the same as used by Brian Jones and Jimmy Page in the late sixties; A Strawberry Alarm Clock "Orange Four" bass with custom pin-striping by Von Dutch; A 1970 red Ventures ll; A rare 1973 Brut Bass with a semi-transparent wine finish; Another unique Semie Moseley custom built guitar -- this one for D.C. Herbert; a 1980 Special Custom Double-Neck (six string + Octave); A 1983 Ventures re-issue with a triple-bound body in three-tone sunburst; A 1986 Joe Maphis Double-Neck (six string + Octave) in two-tone sunburst; A super rare 1897 'hard-tail' Ventures prototype in Storm Gray, and finally a 1988 'set-neck' Ventures model (with side-jack) in three-tone sunburst.
