The 2014 Merlefest just wrapped up in North Wilkesboro, N.C., and Acoustic Guitar was there. The lineup this year was spectacular, with large-stage acts including the venerable Dr. Ralph Stanley, the Carolina Chocolate Drops, Old Crow Medicine Show, Sam Bush, Alan Jackson, Merle Haggard, and so many others.
