Today's Pick of the Day is a 1970 Fender Stratocaster in the rare original Black finish! This is also the last year featuring a stock 4-bolt neck. This one has the perfect feel and weight you’re looking for in an old Strat. All stock with the exception of one replaced volume pot (original included). The finish has some good wear to it with lots of little dings, but the guitar is solid and has tons of mojo. The neck plays great with a full, medium-C profile and the pickups sound wonderfully Strat-y with a woody clarity that only comes from one of these beautiful vintage instruments.
For amplification we used a cool 1960's Silvertone Model 1482, a 15 watt combo with a great built in tremolo circuit!
