The Nebulus offers over 9 killer effects in an ingeniously designed and functional package. You get most popular permutations of chorus, vibe/vibrato and flanging as well as an unexpected great little compressor*.
Standout effects include the Rotary which to my ears is a little more ambient than the current lot of Leslie emulators on offer from various companies. It also benefits from the Mix control, a feature unfortunately left off some of the competition. The Chorus-with-tremolo effect is also another good one. In this video I show it perhaps too quickly and in some of its more extreme settings, but there are some wonderful subtleties within it that are worth exploring should you have the opportunity to check out a Nebulus yourself.
Up to 8 presets can be called up at any time and other 'advanced' settings including attenuation and bypass type are on offer sure to appease the fussiest tweaker.
But the best feature of the Nebulus is its great sounds, something we have come to expect from Empress Effects. All of them are thoroughly useable and should inspire and satisfy your musical bent.
This is a long video due to the extensive feature-set of the Nebulus. It wasn't easy to make given the musical possibilities for each and every great effect so I've tried to demonstrate them in as raw and concise context as possible. Hopefully the quality of the sounds will be made evident, however how you choose to use them is up to your own imagination.
Following are approximate time markers for the different sounds should you wish to skip forward:
Chorus/Basic : 2:18
Chorus/Multi : 3:05
Chorus/with trem : 3:55
Vibe/Uni : 5:08
Vibe/Vibrato : 6:13
*Vibe/Compressor : 7:00
Vibe/Rotary : 7:57
Flanger/60's : 9:30
Flanger/70's : 10:44
Flanger/Thru-Zero : 12:00

PS. That suspicious looking mark on my lip: it's not a cold-sore, it's a toast cut! Haha. I was shovelling in my breakfast way too quickly to get started on the video and ended up slashing the corner of my lip - with toast! Do'h!
