This PRS CAD Sweet 16 + ( Pro ) features is a revised and enhanced version of the popular Sweet 16 amp from PRS's core line. This model has been upgraded to run on 2 x 6L6 power tubes sliding it right into the 40 watt category. This is a portable 1 x 12" combo amp that can really crank so don't say we didn't warn you. Its robust construction utilizes thick PC boards to ensure consistency from amp to amp. All of the pots, jacks, power tube sockets and switches are chassis mounted as well for the greatest stability. Essentially a Sweet 16 amp with more headroom, this amp features cathode bias, a lovely reverb and volume, bass, middle and trebele controls. It also features a Master Volume control so you can dial in how much grit you like in your signal and a bright switch to help you dial in how much the amp cuts. This model features an "Angry Larry" flame maple faceplate and PRS stealth tolex.
Another terrific feature on this beast is the rear mounted impedance switch. This is helpful for anyone who may be interested in working with different speakers. This amp comes with a 65 watt WGS ET65 12" speaker ( 8 ohm ) that's known for its blend of creamy lows, tight midrange and sparkling highs. Perfect for anyone in the classic rock, country and blues genres.
