In this Gear4music demo we take a look at the Antelope Audio Edge Modeling Microphone.

The Antelope Audio Edge Modeling is a large diaphragm condenser microphone that features a dual edge-terminated capsules that deliver a smooth and natural sound.

The Edge Modeling mic allows you to capture the character, and expressiveness of expensive classic microphones and fully utilises discrete electronics, resulting in optimal sonic performance, and longevity. Featuring multiple polar patterns, the Antelope Audio Edge microphone allows for versatile mic positioning, and a range of tones.

The Edge microphone has been designed to work closely with their FPGA processors, in real-time. This allows you to audition various microphones without having to switch microphone setups.

Combine the Edge microphone with Antelope Audio's FPGA Accusonic 3D Modeling engine to transform it into vintage replicas, giving you complete control over proximity effect, off-axis response, and polar patterns, before or after recording.
