We recently stopped by Milkman Sound's headquarters in San Francisco for a closer look at Tim Marcus' workshop. While there, Tim demoed his Pint guitar amplifier for us.
Milkman Sound's Pint delivers 10 watt of classic American-inspired tone. Pushed to its extreme, the Pint unleashes 18 watts of overdriven tone. The Pint amp features a custom Mercury Magnetics output transformer, which allows for parallel single ended 6V6 output. Like the lower wattage Half-Pint, Milkman's Pint features gorgeous reverb and a deep, harmonically-rich tremolo circuit. In addition to the pair of 6V6s in the power stage, the Pint features a 5Y3 rectifier, resulting in a truly touch sensitive amplifier.
Milkman Sound's Pint is available with three different speaker options: a 12" Jupiter AlNiCo, 12" Celestion Blue AlNiCo or a 12" Celestion Greenback.
