Visually you'd never know there was a sigificant deficiency lurking under the hood of this guitar. But the previous owner, took off nice new Grover locking tuners and installed vintage tuners that are the incorrect diameter and held them in there with PAINTER'S TAPE. Over time the tension from the strings will move those bushings and the guitar will never stay in tune. Any unsuspecting new owner would eventually have a guitar that just won't stay in tune and blame it on GIBSON, but not the previous owner who screwed it up. The clue was the diameter of the bushing that the new one was dwarfed by, leaving an obvous ring where it had previously been on the headstock. In this video we put all that right and cut a brand new pickgaurd for a fresh new look.
