Amidst the insanity at Winter NAMM 2013, we were able to stop by the booth of our friend Steve Carr who, with his small team of dedicated craftsman create some fantastic guitar amps, all hand build and hand wired in Pittsboro, NC. We thought that some of the new comers out there to the world of tube amps might appreciate a little "Tube Amp 101" primer on what are some of the big discussion topics are that surround these amps straight from the source of a great designer who also happens to be a great player. Steve was kind enough to give us the time to do so in addition to show us some of his own family of great amps he brought to the show.
