MXR PRESENTS:
THE JIMI HENDRIX 70TH ANNIVERSARY TRIBUTE SERIES
November 2012 marks the 70th birthday of Jimi Hendrix. To celebrate his
legacy, Dunlop® is releasing a limited edition line of four Jimi Hendrix
70th Anniversary Tribute Series effects, each crucial to Jimi¹s signal
chain: the Jimi Hendrix Fuzz Face®, the Octavio®, the Univibe® and the
Jimi Hendrix Signature Cry Baby®.
Loyal to the old school tone of the originals, these meticulously crafted
pedals features modern appointments such as bright on/off LEDs, true
bypass switching and 9-volt power jacks. Designed by the MXR team, the
Fuzz Face, Octavio, and Univibe also sport small Phase 90-style enclosures
that are adorned with colorful graphics inspired by legendary rock artist
John Van Hamersveld¹s famous psychedelic poster from Hendrix¹s 1968 Shrine
