Dive into the details of the custom D-Robert Goetzl 7 with Chris Martin IV and artist Robert Goetzl.
Martin once again partnered with Robert to create this nature-inspired work of playable art, featuring a beautiful hand-painted top that makes the serenity of a koi pond come to life on his canvas of wood and wire – and it isn’t short on tone. This Dreadnought’s spruce top and East Indian rosewood back and sides provide deep bass, rich overtones, and plenty of volume, while the high-performance neck taper allows for ultimate playability. Other features include a pearl rosette, like the one found on our Modern Deluxe Series, and unique binding around the top.
“It’s a painstaking process, meticulously painted with very small brushstrokes,” says Robert. “I’m always trying to push boundaries and create something that’s overwhelmingly eye-catching. But it still sounds like a Martin. I want people to play it.”
The D-Robert Goetzl 7 will be on display as an exclusive lottery guitar at The 2024 NAMM Show in Anaheim, California, from January 25-28.
