Welcome back to Friends Pick Friday! Today we have a pair of James' good friends in the shop, Zan Fiskum and Alec Shaw! Alec plays guitar in James' band when he's not working on his own tunes or projects with other artists, a very talented player and now we've had to opportunity to get his voice on record as well! Zan is a also a very talented player, singer, and songwriter as well, focusing on her personal project under her own name as well as currently collaborating on an album with Alec. The two of them have been friends for over a decade, and you'll hear it when the break into duet territory.

For instruments today, we've got a pair of the coolest 1930's Gibson guitars in the shop, a 1933 L-00 with a gorgeous tuxedo look thanks to the white pickguard and binding, and a 1931 L-00 in a slightly more understated look, with all the wear to show how well its been loved and played throughout its long life. Both of them sound incredible, play great, and have their own unique charactaristics!
