The incredible dynamic response the SFT is based on how hard you play. The entire clip was recorded with the SFT engaged, though it sounds like it is turned off for the quieter non-distorted parts - THE SFT IS ON!!! I am pretty certain there are no other overdrives out there that react the way the SFT does. It's all about feeling connected to the power amp section, big solid round lowend, balanced attack treble, and AMAZING Dynamic response qualities.
Howard did the take in one shot. In that spirit we approached the A/V production.
