My friend Lindsay has a room full of spare bodies and necks that he's been collecting over the years. A month or so ago we dug deep and found this cool Warmoth body and neck that seemed to fit together just fine - and the colour! So I got hold of some of my favourite pickups (JJ's 'V12" Set) and a vintage spec bridge from Fender and we strapped it together. The guitar is light, very bright (! - the colour, I mean), and super stable. Warmoth's quartersawn, fat, wide neck feels great to me and I know I can't go wrong with JJ's pickups. So I've dubbed this one 'Eggs' for obvious reasons and thought I'd show it off. Axe users will find a sister video explaining and offering for free the multi-amp preset I wrote for the occasion.
Many thanks to Lindsay at Combat Academy and Ben at JJ's Pickups.
