This rare laminated maple body thinline guitar weighs 8.70 lbs. and has a one-piece mahogany neck with a wonderful medium profile. Rosewood fretboard with 22 jumbo frets and pearl parallelogram position markers. One mini-humbucking pickup in the neck position, five controls (one volume, one tone, and three other controls - tremolo, frequency and depth) plus five two-way 'tonexpressor' switches. Epiphone Tremotone Vibrola and ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge. Original Epiphone dark gray hardshell case. A strange bird indeed. All amp controls are on the guitar, and it requires the matching amp to be fully functional. It is usable with other amps via the 1/4" jack on the top of the guitar
