As Martin's smallest guitar it provides players with easy portability making it ideal for travelling musicians or student practice. The Martin LX1E's body is crafted from mahogany High Pressure Laminate back and sides, delivering a rich and well-balanced sound. The HPL body is also topped with a solid Sitka spruce top, providing a broad dynamic range with good focus. Equipped with a Fishman Sonitone preamp, this enhances the guitar's natural tone and allows players to tweak the amplified sound.
With a rust birch laminate neck, and Richlite fingerboard the Martin LX1E provides good durability as well as a superb tone. Complete with a natural, clear finish over the beautiful wood grain, LX1E Little Martin is both visually and sonically pleasing.
