While working on "How to Record Heavy Drums" we had a lot of snares kicking around. So, we put together a shootout, testing everything from a top-of-the heap Sonor Cast Steel to a bottom of the garbage pile Slingerland. Same Drummer, mics, mix, everything! Sequence played twice for an in/out of the mix comparison.
