The Blue Angel overdrive from Germany based Ratin Pedals, is based on the classic transistor overdrives of the late 70s and early 80s, with a few upgrades including a 3-way toggle switch for three different clipping modes and a fat switch, allowing more low end for smaller amps and bedroom setups.
Tonewise, the Blue Angel is somewhere between that green 808 and the Tube Driver, with more compression, a smoother top and more bass compared to the former.
The Blue Angel is a great sounding, classic overdrive that fits right in with most amps and musical styles.
