Today we have a cool replication of a pre-war 1937 Martin D-18, but this instrument is only a decade old! A big fan of pre-war Martin guitars (who isn't though?) Tyler has been in love with this guitar since we recently got it into our shop. Short of a few materials that are no longer available (elephant ivory to be specific), this is a very accurate recreation of the classic D-18 - forward-shifted scalloped bracing, Adirondack spruce top, mahogany back and sides, and hide-glue construction leads to a fantastic and warm sound!
