Our own Daniel Kirkland does a demonstration of the Lame Horse Instruments "La Cathedral" OM.
"This guitar is a wonderful creation from our friend and local luthier Chris Jenkins. The inspiration for the design came from Chris and is reminiscent of the magnificent stained glass windows that is found in many of Europe's oldest cathedrals. A glance inside shows a continuation of the Cathedral theme with the linings and color themes Chris selected.....
The name "La Cathedral" is one that we borrowed from a famous classical guitar suite composed by Agustin Barrios Mangore in 1921. The music of this suite invokes compelling images of an old South American church with the light dancing through the windows while the day passes on. While Barrios never played a guitar like this one, the design and sound of this guitar bring out that same feeling that Barrios portrayed in his La Catedral composition."---Daniel Kirkland, Luthier
