The second round of my head to head shootout between the Axe-Fx II's Band Commander model based on a 1968 Fender Drip Edge Bandmaster Reverb and a real 1972 Fender Bandmaster Reverb TFL5005D. The Axe is running into a Matrix GT800FX power amp and then both end up in a 1x12 speaker cab with a WGS ET-65 with a Shure SM57 mic.
For this round I tuned the amps by ear for a short time before starting the demo and tweaked the EQ settings to try and match them as close as possible. My 1972 Bandmaster Reverb is a little brighter, and so I took some slight steps to even things out between the two.
