'66...VI. The number of the Fender beast known as the Bass VI! Today's Pick is just that, a fantastic early F-plate 1966 Bass VI, complete with clay-dot inlays, a '63 neck, and a great refinish. Sitting an octave below a guitar in standard E tuning, these instruments work well as standard basses with extra range, or even more so - a unique creative tool in the studio. Today, we're handing it off to Dan Phelps to play through the excellent 1965 Fender Bassman we've been loving on recently!
