The Dark Star Stereo picks up where the original best selling reverb from OBNE left off. Besides a new immersive stereo experience, this updated Dark Star strips away the confines of selective modes and offers all the previous sounds to be heard at once. Two independent Pitch shift voices range from -2 octaves below to 2 above, while a multi-functional Bit Crush/Overdrive knob can add that Lo-Fi touch to slow blooming pads and shimmer. The Filter spans low-pass and high-pass of the wet signal which helps fine tune extra long decay times while the analog dry signal passes through unscathed. On the back you’ll see an Exp input which can be assigned to any parameter, such as Mix, Decay and Lag which extends the pre-delay for a much more rhythmic and reflective reverb sound. The new Aux switch can be momentary or latching and serves many functions, from infinite decay to pitch ramping to instant filter sweeps!
