Got a Gretsch Sparkle Jet and I've really been falling in love with it, but the pickups aren't quite hot enough for me. I feel like I need a little more oomph. So I'm adjusting the Filtertron to sit up higher. I've heard that doing this really makes the pickups come alive but to get them higher requires some sort of a shim. Lets raise em up and compare the before and after of the Gretsch Sparkle jet before and after adjusting the Filtertron Height.
