In this Fender American Professional Telecaster video we give you a rundown of all the key features of this new Telecaster model, and all of the specifications and sounds you want to hear so you can make an informed buying decision.
Key features of the Fender American Professional Telecaster include a "Deep C" neck profile, a 9.5-inch fretboard radius and new narrow-tall frets.
The American Professional Telecaster comes in two different pickup configurations: a familiar two-single-coil version and a deluxe double humbucker configuration.
These new pickups, V-Mod single-coils and ShawBucker double-coils, were created by pickup master Tim Shaw. They feature mixed AlNiCo magnets, voicing each pickup specifically for its position. The treble-bleed tone circuit also helps retain the high-end clarity Telecasters are noted for, at any volume.
While the Telecaster retains the four-bolt, micro-tilt neck joint, it also features a bi-flex dual adjust truss rod and staggered modern tuners.
Finally, the Fender American Professional Telecaster is available in two different fretboard configurations.
