The Malekko Echo 300 is the long awaited little brother to the Echo 600. This little 300ns monster is an awesome addition to any pedal board. Featuring bucket brigade technology the all analog Malekko Echo 300 is an extremely natural sounding delay pedal. Malekko offered a unique feature on these with a switchable input. You can choose between a true bypass input or a buffered input. Made in both a dark and a bright version, there is an Echo 300 analog delay pedal for any preference.
The Malekko Echo 300 Dark is a warm, spacey delay for those of us that don't really dig the super bright, hi-fi delays. The Echo 300 Dark provides pulsing delays that can be taken into oscillation with infinite repeats. The shorter slap-back tone is mild and sweet, and the longer delays are lo-fi and lumpy. The input select switch is extremely useful for buffering your signal in a long chain or just bypassing it to keep clarity. The buffered input seems to be a bit brighter and more crisp, while the true bypass is a little darker. With more options than meets the eye, the Echo 300 Dark is everything a true analog delay should be made with simplicity and tone in mind.
