Guitar Center laying off corporate employees, probably in a last ditch effort to make payroll and delay the inevitable bankruptcy. Taylor releasing a new film project about its efforts in in the African nation of Cameroon to responsibly harvest ebony. Three members of the rock band Tool going on a short clinic tour of midwestern states. Still no word on when a new Tool Album might be released.
