Paul Hindmarsh demonstrates the Dynamic and Crunch amp designs in the Catalyst 100 amplifier. Dynamic is set for a crunchy tone with a bit of gain boost, Hall reverb, and a throaty flanger toward the end; Crunch is set for just a bit of hair, sans boost, with a touch of Hall reverb. The Catalyst 100 was recorded with Shure SM57 and Aston Stealth microphones, and a pair of Aston Spirit room mics.
