In this video Victory chief designer Martin Kidd is joined by Rabea Massaad (Dorje, Toska) to go through the pedal preamps' features and sounds.
The V4 Series are the first pedal format preamps for guitar that feature four valves and an all-valve signal path. There are no other overdrive devices or gain pedals used in this video. The amps are set clean.

For the majority of the video you are hearing the V4 The Pedal Preamps into the effects loop return (power amp in) of a Victory V30 The Countess MkII amplifier (for The Kraken pedal) or a V40 Deluxe (for The Sheriff, The Countess pedals).
There are also sections with the pedals into the effects loop return (power amp in) of a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe amplifier.
In all cases the amplifiers/cabinets are mic'd with a Sennheiser e906 dynamic and Neumann TLM102 capacitor mic.
The guitars are a Fender Custom Shop Artist Inspired 61 Stratocaster, PRS DGT, Gibson Memphis 1959 ES-335, Ernie Ball Music Man JP15, Fender American Deluxe HSH Stratocaster, Fender American Vintage 1962 Stratocaster.
There are no other gain pedals used in this video. All the overdrive you hear is from the V4 Series Pedal Preamps.
There are two pedals in the amp's effects loop, used periodically…
• Walrus Audio ARP-87 Multi-Function Delay
• Strymon Big Sky Reverb
