James' pick of the day is Fender heaven - a 1960 Custom Esquire and the 1966 Pro Reverb we've been featuring recently! The custom versions of the Esquire are rarely seen due to the fact that most people going for the simple Esquire in the 60’s weren’t willing to pay for the extra cosmetic appointments. This guitar is in completely original condition with the exception of a replaced tone pot, and it sounds fantastic. The signature Tele\Esquire bridge pickup sound is here in spades - punchy, twangy, with a ton of sustain, all nicely balanced out by the slab Brazilian Rosewood freboard. Of course, with this 1966 Fender Pro Reverb and and our friend Aaron Hiebert on the demo, we think you'll enjoy the sound of this awesome guitar!
