We visited the Martin Guitar booth at the 2015 Winter NAMM show and were fortunate enough to have Scott Follweiler walk us through the company's newest products. Follweiler tells us about some important upgrades to the Authentic Series and shows off the OM-45 (Brazilian rosewood) and OM-28 (Madagascar rosewood), each with torrefied Adirondack spruce top. We also get a look at a couple of limited-edition models, including the SSGP42, D-41 purple cocobolo dreadnought, and the jumbo CEO-8 with sycamore back and sides. Also of note is the new Mexico-made spruce/sapele Dreadnought Junior, with its 24" scale length.
