Many of my favorite overdriven sounds come from small amps turned way up. Great Eastern FX has created a pedal to emulate those classic sounds. The first clip with the ES 350 is nailing a sound I get from my old Valco Oahu with a small field coil speaker. The Tele clip is a pretty spot on tweed Champ turned up to just the right spot. There are lots more sounds in this pedal but these are two of my faves.
