zZounds.com exclusive tone overview of the Moog Minifooger MF Delay and MF Drive. Check out the MF Delay at http://www.zzounds.com/item--MOOMFDELAY and MF Drive at http://www.zzounds.com/item--MOOMFDRIVE.
The Minifooger MF Delay boasts a 100% analog signal path, true bypass, 4 Bucket Brigade chips, and an expression pedal input to control feedback. You can achieve a variety of classic delay effects, from slap-backs to long swells that darken and warm up as they trail off. With drive, time, feedback, and mix controls, you really can sculpt your guitar tone into new creations.
If the delay is your ticket to serene swells, the MF Drive is for dirtying things up. With two unique filter modes and a built-in Moog ladder filter, it's designed to respond like a tube amp. Use its Gain knob to adjust responsiveness to picking dynamics, the Peak switch to accentuate mids and highs, and the Tone control to go from dark and full to smooth and midrangey. Use the Expression Pedal input to sweep through the filter cutoff, effectively turning this into a tunable dirty wah pedal if you so wish.
For this demo, we used a Gibson 1959 VOS Les Paul electric guitar played through an Orange TH30 combo amplifier. Enjoy!
