Today James has selected two pieces of 1959 Fender excellence - a incredibly clean and mostly original Jazzmaster (refret and new nut by Mark Tossman) and a Bassman with a bit of a story to it! The Jazzmaster oozes cool with its gold pickguard, the tones from this guitar are just to die for and it plays quite nicely! The otherwise excellent case appears to have a bullet hole in it, but the guitar was thankfully not present at the time. The Bassman is actually housed in a 30+ year old THD cabinet by Andy Marshall and has two pairs of '57 and '59 P10Q speakers. The power transformer has been replaced with a vintage replacement and some capacitors and resistors have been changed, but most of the original circuit remains intact. We rounded out the setup with an Electroharmonix Holy Grail and a Supro Tremolo!
