Today, we're checking out the Echolution 2 Ultra Pro and Filter Pro. Both pedals are the next step in Pigtronix's excellent Echolution programmable multi tap delay series. The Ultra Pro takes the processing power of the original Echolution 2 and augments it, offering 30 total algorithms for an unparalleled delay experience. Every parameter from delay time, to modulation wave to filter type can be assigned and implemented with several onboard rotary switches. The Echolution Ultra Pro adds 15 multitap modes as well as some new features like independent pitch shifting of each delay tap. Pigtronix has also provided players with a highly customizable companion app for both PC and Mac users, with a vastly expanded control set and the ability to send any preset directly to either Echolution. Both pedals feature true stereo in and out, assignable expression parameter, MIDI in and out and full compatibility with the Echolution 2 remote.
