Through his dedicated work with the Nashville-based band The Shakedown, Tyler Bryant has come to be recognized as a new torchbearer in the long and rich tradition of Texan blues-rock guitarists.
Starting at the age of 11, jamming in music stores with seasoned local artists, Tyler quickly took his playing to virtuosic levels while never giving up his child-like excitement for performing. Both in the studio and on stage, Tyler jumps from thick-necked resonators to the thinner profiles of his beloved Strats, so he requires a capo that moves seamlessly from instrument to instrument while allowing him to maintain a consistent playing style and pull off some serious blues bends.
That’s why he uses the Dunlop Pivot Capo. It offers a rich and satisfying playing experience, featuring a patented self-centering neck pivot that adapts to a variety of neck shapes for even tension and tuning stability, a low-resistance gear that quickly dials in precise pressure, and an optimized fret pad that reduces buzzing and allows notes to ring out with bright clarity and beautiful sustain.
