In this video Rabea Massaad is playing a variety of guitars to give you a taster of V30 MKII's massive range of sounds.
The MKII replaces the original V30, adding a third 'Crunch' mode that sits between the high-headroom clean channel and the all-out gain of the Overdrive channel.

We have also add the 'Nomod' function, a footswitchable bass/resonance control that works in the power section. It came about via a modification we tried in the V30 to give it tighter bottom-end reponse in the Overdrive channel following customer feedback. However, just as many people preferred it exactly the way it was – including Guthrie Govan – so we are now offering both options thanks to the footswitchable Nomod function. (No modification, geddit?).

For all of this video, the amp is mic'd with Sennheiser e906 on the Victory V212VV 2x12 cabinet (Celestion Vintage 30s), plus a stereo X-Y mic in the room.

The guitars are a Deusenberg Bonneville, Fender John Mayer Signature Stratocaster, Gibson Memphis 1958 ES-335 and Chapman Guitars ML1 PRO Modern.

There are no gain pedals used in this video. All the overdrive you hear is from the amp itself.
